On Saturday, May 5th the Interfaith Food Pantry held a dinner dance at The Knights of Columbus Hall in Mt. Kisco. They honored Andre and Armelia Ferrara for their many years of dedicated service to the pantry. It was a great evening of dancing and music!
On Saturday, May 5th UMCMK held it's annual Flea Market and Tag Sale. The weather was perfect for folks to browse and spend a some money. We had over 20 vendors take part in the day. The Church also had a large tent filled with donations from the community. The church tag sale went into Sunday afternoon, unfortunately Sunday's weather wasn't as good as Saturday but overall the weekend was a great success. Our Church family came together and helped out where needed.
Thomas Moravick, a longtime resident of Bedford Hills, NY passed away on May 11 from cancer. He was 67 years old and an active member of the UMC of Mount Kisco Tom traveled to France several times during his teens, once as an exchange student.
